Mount St Patrick Primary School is a wonderful and vibrant Catholic community providing educational excellence for students from Kindergarten to Year Six.

At Mount St Patrick Primary School, we are dedicated to providing students with a caring community embedded in our Christian values, fostering strength of character, passion for learning and growth of students. We actively promote the development of the whole individual, empowering each student to strive for personal excellence. In all that we do, we foster the Catholic tradition, sacraments, heritage and Gospel teachings so that all students can act with heart and pride.

Mount St Patrick Primary School enjoys an excellent reputation within the broader community for providing outstanding education and excellence. We are proud of our school’s rich history. Our school’s values of compassion, commitment, courage, confidence, creativity, contemplation & communion are based on the Presentation Sisters, who founded the school in 1904. Our school motto, ‘With Heart and Pride,’ is lived out every day through the actions of our students.

Mount St Patrick Primary School is a caring community where children are encouraged and challenged to do their best, develop their talents and, most importantly, have fun while they learn. Working in partnership with families, we can together encourage and support each student to gain an understanding of themselves and the world in which they live.

'Our three children attend Mt St Patrick Primary, and all have thrived in this caring school community. As parents, it is reassuring to know that our children are encouraged to be themselves and are accepted for who they are. Each child and family is known by all the teachers regardless of the child's class; this has created a space where children feel valued and safe, thus allowing them to be enthusiastic students. The quality of the relationships that our children have made with both staff and peers is apparent from the morning welcome at the school drop-off, to the end of the day when they come home happy and content. We think this speaks volumes of our school, and we couldn't ask for more!' - Maeve and Roi, parents of Early Stage 1 and Stage 3 students.

'My four children have all thrived at Mt St Patrick primary school, Murwillumbah. They provide a friendly and nurturing learning environment with supportive and caring teachers. There is impeccable communication through compass, and the principal Brendan Ryan is always out and about in the school community. The school has offered ample opportunities for our children to try a variety of sports and excel at them.

Our family is very appreciative of the community, the school and the wonderful teachers have provided for our children.' - Sally, parent of Stage 2 and Stage 3 students.
